I never eat alone.
Sixth Place (Tie)
*by Don DeHaven

Canon EOS 10D, Sigma 15mm Fisheye

The ‘voices,’ or thoughts I have when I’m alone come from my basic being. They are not ‘clothed’ by the characteristics of what I am (man, father, accountant, etc.). Hence the shirtless images.

Ghosting achieved by setting opacity of pasted layers to 50%. Spotlight effect created with Photoshop filter. Perspective from a fisheye lens about a foot below ceiling level.

Very Nice, Don! I'd say you are an accountant on his way to becoming a lion tamer :) (classic Python skit with John Cleese and Graham Chapman... for you youngsters in the crowd)

LOL! Great composite! I have to say, I have never seen schizophrenia represented so well before ;-). Seriously, though, it is quite good. Great perspective. I am interested to know how you achieved it. Lisafx

Don: As noted below, the ghosting adds an interesting element and the expressions play extremely well together. I am curious as well about the gentlemen in their skivvies. :-) Must be a story in there somewhere! --Joe

Neat...interesting that there's no connection b/w the 4 of them....Just trying to imagine all of them fully engaged in a conversation with each other...AND having food in front of them, too:)))

Very interesting! Kind of freaky/eerie that the others are "ghosts". I'm trying to decipher the underlying meaning of the shirtlessness. Nice composition. Interesting twist on the multiplicity! I like it. :) ~ Lonnit
