How Lucky Can One Guy Get
Fifth Place
by theblue

I took about 30-40 shots ,many out of focus, and finally settled on a Mcdonalds bag perched on the top of the chair to get my focus correct.
As for the title you can sometimes think your hard done by in life, but when I look back I think I have been pretty lucky.

I don't know who, but someone once said that photography was painting with light. An art you obviously master! Very well done!

Eric: I'll shamelessly run with the pack on this one... You are a master at lighting, constrast, and mood. Excellent use of B&W, an engaging expression. This has the quality and feel of an author's photograph on the back of a book. Terrific! --Joe

Your usual great command of light with a good *feel* to the picture. I have to wonder if the title has some kind of personal meaning to you?

What a wonderful use of light and shadow in your portrait! I like the expression on your face. Very thoughtful and kind of wise. It's also nice to put a face to the name. Lisafx
