I had planned on doing something like this for the Creative Self Portrait challenge, but didn't like any of the images I got. I'm still not really happy with this, but decided to post it anyway.

Good one Michael, this would have been great for the other challenge as well.

I sometimes find pics I think are good get very few votes or even none at all and vice versa, so you never know Michael, post it anyway?

It is difficult to capture the hand movement this way, sometimes setting the flash to 'strobe' captures multiple images that stand out more, assuming one has a flash that can strobe?

This is a strong image thanks to the stark tones, dramatic composition and well-placed motion blur. I also like the fact that you left some "grain" in there, it works. Well done! -Kuivaamo
