Thanks, Penny. Thanks, Mikey. (I posted an out-take in Pending, giving a better view of what the whole clock looks like.) Regards Nico

Well done, Nico! That looks like the bottom of a can rehabbed into a very cool "vacation" clock. Cool image, cute subject, nicely lit. Oh, and Penny, that's another Michael. Cheers, -mikey

that is SO great in every way (like Mikey said!). And I like the way the shaded background adds dimension.

Thanks, Michael! :-)

The clock mechanism actually works... might not be too accurate... but who cares! :-)

I bought this one at a souvenier shop at the Waterfront in Cape Town, but have seen similar clocks or various shapes and sizes at other shopping centres in Gauteng as well... Fourways Mall comes to mind. Was a while back though, so I cannot promise that these are still in stock.

Glad you like it. Regards Nico

Nico that is just brilliant as a concept, as picture and as an item!!! I love it! You of course have to live in Africa to really appreciate it.

I showed my wife your picture and she says she wants one NOW! In fact she says she wants two one for home and one to give to the Home Affairs Department ;-) So Nico you'll have to tell me where you got it!
