Challenge 105 - High Contrast Photography

Challenge 105: High Contrast is about maximizing the contrast of your composition using photographic tools at your disposal. It is not about photoshopping (although you are free to post process in whatever way you desire) it is about using your skill to produce a punchy high contrast image starting with your camera and lighting technique and choice of ISO, aperture and shutter speed, ND filters etc.

Feel free to explore different ideas and offer a different viewpoint on "High Contrast". You may prefer monochrome or colour the choice is yours. It would be helpful if you provided a brief comment on special technique or tricks you used to achieve your final composition.
