We greatly enjoyed our organised tour of Rajasthan by Imaginative Traveller < http://www.imaginative-traveller.com/ see Deserts, Forts and Palaces. I do appreciate that it might be less imaginative than a self organised trip for those with more time but they did an excellent job and they are to be recommended (no we don't have any shares!)

To our fellow travellers I offer my thanks for their company and good humour (after all they had to suffer me!!).

India we found to be an inspiring country and one of extremes - in architecture, scenery, comfort, and poverty - but above all everyone was friendly and nowhere did we feel threatened. OK so we had to barter (badly in my case) and OK so a few of the poorer people might tell mistruths to help one part with ones cash, but this was all a part of the experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend a trip to India! I hope you enjoy some of these photographs many of which were taken literally on the hoof!
