This traffic sign is one sistems to alert the drivers, the presency of the Lynx and the possibility of one them crossing the road. Evendough the speed limit is 40km/h and there are sign reminder everywhere very few people follow the speed limit. Nearly every year a Lynx is killed in this road of a bit more than 30km. Speed traps, "sleeping police" or round about are necessari in the known areas where the Lynx cross the road.

We didn't enter any private land and always used public areas. Any people seen employing irrespectful methods with the Iberian Lynx or entering private land should be reported to the police.
