In this gallery you can see some pictures taken in the Belchite Plains. This rather extreme area has amazing and hidden nature values such as one of the biggest populations of the endangered Dupont's Lark. Pin-tailed and Black-bellied Sandgrouse are also found here, although they are often hidden in the grass.

I just looked at your pictures from the Belchite Steppes..........You have some outstanding ones!!!!! I really liked the detail of the scales on the Lizard. Looks like a piece of beadwork done by our Native Americans. The Abandoned Village reminded me of standing below and looking for all those elusive birds. Thanks for the great visuals.
