after gazing at it across Herefordshire for about 20 years, eg https://pbase.com/crisscross/image/147124568 , I took the opportunity of a cancelled meet to actually foray across the Welsh border,go to it and go up it.

From its slopes, one can view one of the finest landscapes outside the Lake District...but see for yourselves
