Church of St Michael, Spreyton
One of a group of Churches on the Dartmoor fringes known for 'Green Man' carvings. Largely C15th, with the wagon braced roof of the chancel specifically dated 1451. (see EH listing)(

There are however a number of features clearly dating from much earlier periods like the arch between chancel and organ north aisle and filled doorway in north aisle rescued or re-incorporated from an Norman building
