Rotherwas Chapel

https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/daysout/properties/rotherwas-chapel/history-and-research/

An unusual chapel associated with the Bodenham family from 1483 until 1892 and Catholic throughout. The main roof structure is an unusaul C16th one with moulded tie-beams, which are normal, but then surmounted with an almost hammerbeam structure. The chancel was rebuilt by Peter Paul Pugin, youngest son of AW Pugin the noted gothic revival scholar and contains further interesting and unusal roof strurcture. The roof covering and tower decoration appears to be C18th.
