Signing off this gallery for now for some current stuff. This is a very important archaeological site and some time HQ of The Lords of the Isles https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/islay/finlaggan/index.html as the commentators say, its very difficult to unravel and I am inclined to stay with Nigel Tranter's romanticised account
