2 young and small looking adults have got this group of 24±1 (difficult to count) ducklings on manoeuvres along the shore. According to the RSPB handbook, parents sometimes leave their young to the care of such "aunties" while they go off and moult. Interupting my Cornish pics to feature this extraordinary phenomenon
