Mill River winter

the river level rose about a foot late summer last year and has never gone down again, making the whole valley floor waterlogged and near impassable after further rain; will be interesting to see how the vegetation re-emerges and dragonflies cope (did report it to Environment Agaency, but with no effect)

An interesting shift in the environment - I wonder why? - that makes for a pleasing wetland image. Great light and reflections.

It does make for a very pleasant looking wetland. Frogs will probably be happy.

Hopefully not too much damage or change will last once the weather warms...it has a lovely golden look about it now. V

Such a beautiful scene with a fresh spring look to it. Interesting to read about the amount of water there, however. Wonder what this spring and summer will bring. V
