Christchurch Mansion - kitchen sub-hearth

The sub-hearths - these would have been powered by charcoal rescued form the embers of the main hearth and used for sauces (hence 'saucepan) and the rectangular pan is probably a fish kettle for poaching whole fish (caught in the pond rather than pulled from the fridge)

The camera needs repair and probably my 1st day for 12 years without a working camera; have dusted FZ7, but waiting new battery to see if that works. Please xcuse backlog for now
