Port of Hemley - the pier

Doesn't seem to have been developed to the extent of Felixstowe! Nevertheless this does seem to be the remains of one of the piers along the Deben where crops were loaded and coal and other heavy goods were taken in. Opposite is Ramsholt 'cliff' which is till used a little by the local farming/sailing community
