Maybe not the ultimate bird image, but taken from the road bridge over the bourne. The Egret was almost within reach when first seen, but quicker at take of than me changing lens! Took n1v3 for a walk so Susan could look around house on her own. Incredibly changeable weather and haven't got hang of changing settings nor lenses quickly.
