Black-Headed Gulls fishing

Walberswick, Suffolk

a fascinating sight to watch as small flights of gulls fish more or less as a formation team. With the naked eye it is puzzling how they achieve anything as you don't see them breaking the water; in the bottom left you see that they do in fact get their head under water for a very brief gulp

also a good way of meeting and getting to chat to any other serious photographer on the beach - Hi Tim!! http://www.timmatthews.weebly.com

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I like the bottom right best, he could be running on water.
Better they keep fishing than raiding picnics.

Nicely presented series of gull captures. I especially like the one in the water!
