Dancing in the Sand

Used the cave picture, displace mapped the church ceiling onto the cave walls. Grain merge as layer mode. Added the dancer. Put her feet in the sand. Added a shadow. Put a blue texture with stars over it all. Added another layer, vignetted the corners. Layer mode overlay. Finally, added signature. Done. (This is a first for me... I made this on my old laptop... using the track pad instead of a mouse... more difficult than I imagined it would be! LOL!!)

Blue jean baby, L.A. lady, seamstress for the band
Pretty eyed, pirate smile, you'll marry a music man
Ballerina, you must have seen her dancing in the sand

With a tip of the hat to Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

(The song was the inspiration for this image)

So nice to see you back! As usual, a lovely, imaginative story, perfectly rendered. Hard to do with a touchpad, as I know from experience.
Keep it up!

She fits into the background just so perfectly. Nice combination of the cave, church interior and the dancing woman. I like all the little stars twinkling around. It's just so magical. Good job.---skunk

you've created a beautiful stage for this lovely young woman. (amazing work w/o a tablet or a mouse!) artistic doodling at its best! it just proves that if you know what you're doing, you KNOW what you're doing. LOL shu
