27 January - Ghostly Tree

Prestbury, Gloucestershire view map

There is a very spooky looking tree in the grounds of St Mary's Church in Prestbury.
It is fitting that Prestury is rumoured to be one of the most haunted villages in England.
In fact, if there needed to be a sign saying 'come and look for ghosts here', I think this tree would be perfect.

If it wasn't for the pub across the road I would't visit after dark :0)

Yes, that tree definitely looks spooky and I bet it looks even more menacing after a few pints!

It does have the look of something that would bend down, in the night, and scoop you up.... Great composition....
