May 02 - Dandelion

The first dandelion to ‘flower’ in the garden this year.
I can’t help but admire the structure in the seed head, and yet I want rid of all of them before they flower.

It’s a dilemma and the reason why its not all in focus - I can continue to deny that that it is a thing of beauty and remember that it is a weed.

A weed is only a flower that is growing in the wrong place. A beautiful whimsical photo.

a wispy harbinger of cheerful blossoms to come...dandelions can seem invasive yet rarely take over...at best they are vibrant and resilient too..

Yes indeed - that love hate relationship which photographers cum gardeners have with dandelions.
Nice detailed macro.

Ah, the much-maligned dandy - I poured weed-killer onto mine before they got a chance to go all fluffy. It's very pretty - you should grow some more :o)

I like this, the image, not the invasive weed.

It looks good at this stage even though it is a weed!

it has come out more interesting with limited DOF than the usual sharp focus ones one used to struggle to get
