I realized I was going to be in NYC on a night when the moon was almost full, and there was a cruise that left at the perfect time to catch both the sunset and the moonrise. The cruise was $25 and lasted about two hours. It left from the Hudson @ pier 83 (42nd St.) and swung by the Statue of Liberty before heading up to about the Williamsburg Bridge.
