Hi Carmen,

I am back in action again after 1 year of silence. I got a paid up gallery now. I thought I would drop by to say hello and also to check on your latest updates. Wow...you are still using the Sony D717? I am. But intending to upgrade to NikonD80 soon. Do drop by when you are free and visit my gallery. Cheers. Keep in touch.

Carmen,
Thank you for your comment on the posting of my "back lit shell". I agree when you say that "Nature herself can be such a wonderful architect". I am always in awe whenever I stumble across these patterns and structures. I feel honored whenever I am able to witness and simultaneously capture a natural wonder. I am glad you also enjoyed the image.

Carmen, thanks for comments on my pictures. I just visited your galleries and had lots of fun! Your sure love flowers, plants and nature. It looks that you can’t resist taking pictures when you spot something beautiful; that’s a real gift. I will come back for sure as I was just overwhelmed by the scores and scores of charming images. Great work! Keep shooting :)

Carmen, You have quite a bit of talent. And it appears that you love the cloudy sky more than I. Thanks for leaving a comment on my page, without it i would never have gotten to enjoy your galleries.....

Hey, Carmen, I'm so glad to find your website. I recognized Kirby right away. (We had him in our camper for parts of a weekend once ...imagine that...) You've got some extraordinary talent here. I hope Amy can get to it -- she has a drawing of a praying mantis that you'd love. Congratulations, and I'm proud of you!

you were born with it!

Hi...thanks for the comment on my parade photos. I gather you live somewhere flat from the first PAD photo of yours (?)
kmahbub02-Jul-2004 17:53
Carmen,
thanks for visiting my gallery and leaving kind comments! I checked your work and I must say that I am impressed :), especially your drawings, cats, and alphabets galleries are beautiful. One thing I expected to see from a F717 owner was Infrared work. I wish you get into that too some day and we get a chance to see some great work there as well. Good luck.

Your Galleries are outstandingly beautiful. It is not so often that I see such talented photographers. Well Done.
Guest 19-Jun-2004 20:46
I'm glad you got the 717 and signed up for Pbase.
You have some nice pictures in the galleries.
The gallery that floored me is the Drawings gallery.
Don't let the camera get in the way of your drawings.

Anyway, Yeah, I got the Canon S1, but other than the fun big zoom
the Sony is a much better camera. It give you a better picture as
far as details go. I'm guessing that it's because of the Zeiss lens.

I saw one pic that had a number around 9600. how long have you had the camera?
Anyway, I hope that I helped you out early on, and looking forward to
see some of your photos in the challenges.

dave vichich.

Carmen, thank you for your kind words about my galleries. Since my husband's stroke the camera and gardens have been my solace and sanctuary. I am away from the house maybe 20-25 hours a week when I have someone to stay with him, so my photos are all taken here. This website helps me to keep on working at this challenging and fun hobby. It's addictive, in a good way. Thanks again, and I'm so glad I found your galleries.

Hi Carmen,
I wish to thank you for visiting an commenting on a few of my photo's. :) As for Target, actually she spent her first year out in the country and did learn the art of hunting pretty well. It's the other cat we have (sillyvester) that would just stand there and watch the mice go by. LOL He's always been an indoor cat. H*ll, he's afraid of birds (unless they are in a cage)!
Again, Thank you

Thank you for your comment. Mizzie is a she, and she often lies on her back on the couch with her head over the edge and watches TV upside down (only the soccer, though). After a while she will start trying to catch the football on the telly. Your cats are beautiful.
