THEY WERE LANDING IN PAIRS TONIGHT

But I only caught these two coming in one right after the other

It happened so quickly that in the deepening sky it was hard to get a crisp shot

And this is an animation of one that landed after these two

I get to see the ones that Robin is talking about right from my front patio. Little different angle from this scene and I'd need to borrow Robin's lens to capture them properly.

You know Pete, we have a Marine base just south of here and I often see these jets in the pattern. It is a thrilling sight... you did well with this under low light conditions.
