I have a whole bunch (well . . I HAD a whole bunch) of flat leaf or Italian parsley growing in a container
The caterpillars are taking over
These are itty bitty ones that will grow to the size of the other one I showed ya'all within days
The one at the bottom of the picture has a baby brother or sister that I didn't see until I enlarged it in PS
See the little guy??? Right at the tip of the bigger one laying in the middle of the leaf

This time last year there was ice cream to be eaten

You need to look to another cause Pete as these are actually Ladybug larvae & the only thing they are interested in eating is aphids that are hanging around. Your garden has been blessed. Now the interesting part is if you watch these over a period of time you will see them gradually change, like they're curling into a ball. They will harden & gradually develop that wonderful & colourful shell & the cycle continues. If you do a search on google images using the words ladybug larvae you will see many shots of these. If you don't spray poisons in your garden the colonies will grow & return & keep your plants pest free.
