14 AUG 05

A lovely cedar stood beside the house for almost twenty years
This year the bugs and heat got to it and it had to come down

The swirls of color in the wood with the shadow of a few last leaves gave an interesting farewell picture

The corner of the house looks so naked now

This time last year flowers floated on a pond

That is a shame but it sure makes a neat photo. Almost looks like fire.

it turns into a nice abstract with natural grain.

This is beautiful. Keep some of the chips for your closets and garage. They keep their fragrance forever with a light sprinkling ever so often.

I think that should be "lose", Pete.

It hurts to loose an old friend, but the wood is beautiful.
