It was just another tree and storm cloud picture . . .
So I isolated the tree in a layer and darkened it to keep the silhouette
The sky took two more layers to separate out the clouds and play with each layer
1. image>adjust> curves
2. hue and saturation
3. desaturation slightly
4. merge all layers
5. post
6. go to bed

=)

Trippin, LOL! You did a great job on the post-processing. Almost looks like a heat index map and today those yellows and reds tell the story for Virginia. ;)
