First night of school . . class has ended
Students stop to chat with the instructor, ask questions, make decisions
Spouses with kids in tow come to pick up students

It's been twenty years since I took any kind of CHEM
It's been ten years since I completed my second degree . . .

Organic Chemistry? You haven't taken it yet? It was the most dreaded class in college chemistry--hard and boring. Sorry. I didn't take it. I just worked in the Chem stockroom and wrote up all the beakers and erlenmyer (sp?) flasks that people broke in lab. "How much is this gonna cost?" "Fifty-two dollars. Don't break anymore." :-) I was always being interrupted from my studies to fill acetone wash bottles...Ah the days. Always fun to blow any spills away. Good luck. Does it include a lab? In H.S. we made a polyester. I think it was high school.

Good for you!! Organic Chemistry? Is that similar to Biochemistry? I used to enjoy that subject, but I used to fall asleep during the lecture because it was always on a Friday afternoon, and I always ended up sitting against the radiator!!! Good luck with the course!

I'm with Jude Mc on this one. Gave up on all sciences when I was about 13 coz I was crap! Mind you, I haven't heard of many authors either. Good on ya Pete. Like the toning.

LOL....totally can relate to what your "what the heck i'm i doing here". i went back to school a few years ago. then i sat down to do homework, all of the sudden cleaning house, cooking dinner and the wash looked pretty good!! hang in there and keep us posted!!
