16 AUG 04 JUST DUCKY

This IS a local pond . . .not just one that the hurricanes made over the weekend
But it's not usually quite THIS large or deep
It's normal size is about one third of this

Still . . the ducks like it

After I posted this, we went for a ride in the Back Bay Preserve
These are two of the sunsets . . . whaddaya think?
Should I leave well enough alone?

Beautiful scene. I really like the fact that you can see just a bit of the building.

So I take it you weren't in an area that got hit too hard?
Nice vertical composition.

Fine job Pete. Those clouds look pretty scary. Wonder where the ducks go when it starts really storming. This guy looks content.

There is a famous photographer (cant remember who) who stated that the best work is shot in bad weather. I am apt to agree after viewing this landscape. Very beautiful.

Just ducky Pete. Very lovely scene...some positive benefit from your storms.
