22 JULY 04 WALLPAPERING WITH BED SHEETS

This is detail of the bathroom we 'wallpapered' with bed sheets

It's best to do this task with solid colors, or ones with patterns that don't need to be matched
Matching the plaid was a royal b*tch!!!

In the inset
The border around the top is wood firring strips with bias strips of fabric wrapped around them

this is the second bathroom we've done this way. The other was done 10 or 12 years ago and no mildew so far. =]

Nice colours and a very neat job, but aren't you afraid it will get damp/mildewy?

I have seriously been considering painting my kitchen walls in red..now that I have seen this... yes I sure am going to do it. Much to the dismay of my husband who likes all things in peach (agggg) or white. *smile*
