Behind her is the very solemn and proper Captain who officiated over the ceremony

ooops, maybe you're the dentist??? sorry if I made a mistake.

Just a quick run through your pictures and I guess you work as a dental tech either in or for the Navy? I thought I'd comment here because I was a Navy wife for 20 years of the 29 I was married to the ex and I lived in Portsmouth, Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach for 12 of those years. My kids were born at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Back Bay is a place I used to go to see the flocks of snow geese that gather there. Princess Anne Road is a familiar landmark. Do you ever go to Chic's Beach? Anyhow, I like the smile on this woman's face and the CPO (?) cheering in the background. I don't miss the ex, but I sure miss the Navy. Now that we can't just come aboard any old base any old time I can't get my fix.

A nice documentive shot of "military life". The blk/white gives that effect. IMHO.

Didn't see the color but this works well in b/w. Great shot of a proud moment.
