CELERY ROOT

It's ugly as sin, but tasty
When you cut it, it smells just like celery (cuz that's what the plant GROWS from)

Peeled & sliced or cut into eighths
Coated with olive oil & salt & pepper
Roasted in a 450 degree oven for 30-45 minutes
And VOILA! Super veggie (along with others of course) to go with a nice juicy pot roast

See Ya in a bit . . dinner's ready!

One of my favorite veggies... I was introduced to it when I was a kid. My mother used to serve it remoulade style when she could find it. I searched for years for it when I grew up and finally it has come into its own in the vegetable hierarchy. Nice shot of a great veggie.

That sounds good. I've never tried roasted celery root. I love the flavor of celery. Oh yes, intersting picture too.
