Thursday's Totally Informal Transglobal Challenge for this week is *Smooth & Rough, Textures*

I have no idea why these items were tucked inside this tree.
I imagine that, perhaps, it is a "time capsule" of a sort for some teens . . .
Or something whimsical from a summer scavenger hunt . . .
But whatever the purpose, it worked for me =)))
