The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is my alma mater.
It is one of the tertiary institutions funded by the HKSAR government.
It had a long history before it was granted full university status in 1994.

It was founded in 1937 as the Government Trade School in Wanchai.
In 1957, it moved to the current site and became the Hong Kong Technical College.

On 1 August 1972, it changed its name to the Hong Kong Polytechnic and in November 1994,
the institution was granted its full university status.
