I used an SB-800 with a soft box, on the left-hand side, to bring out the details of the petals.
An SB-200 was fixed on the rear right to outline the shapes of the lotus.

To increase the depth of field, I took a series of 4 shoots
from the nearest to the furthest petal tips
and rolling the focus along with each shoot.

These 4 pictures were then blended into a single image thru' a software "Helicon Focus".
