Viewed from the Peace Memorial Park,
the Atomic Bomb Dome was beautifully reflected on the peaceful River Motoyasu.
I couldn't imagine that tens of thousands of innocent lives were killed
along this river during the bombing on 6 August 1945.
After going back to Hong Kong, I searched the Internet for the information about the river and
accidentally found the following picture that was taken, before the bombing, in 1933.
I was really surprised at the striking similarity between the old picture and mine.
They were taken almost at the same place and the same angle but 75 years apart.
A friend of mine kidded that I'm the reincarnation of that Japanese photographer :)
