Paris, the Chinese call it “The City of Flower”. Of course it is, but in my opinion, Paris is also the home of fine arts; a city of beautiful bridges, fine food and music.
Before this trip, I heard that pickpockets and thieves are active in Paris. I was fortunate enough because all the people I met on streets were so nice and helpful. Every time I looked at a map, a smiling face would come and offer assistance. I was really impressed although some of the elderly have difficulty speaking English; they tried their best with hand signals and their body language to show me the directions, alerted me to securely keep my camera.
What attracted me to visit Normandy are its rich historical sights. In addition to D-Day Beaches, Mont Saint Michel is the place I love to go.
