The Best of Oz

Australia. My second home. I spent 12 years in this beautiful country, only to spread my wings and come back to my birthplace (Manila) back in 98 to be closer to my family.

I spent my honeymoon driving across the harsh, unforgiving red center of Australia back in 95. But believe it or not, after 13 days of taking a whole bunch of once-in-a-lifetime photos, I got to the other side of the continent only to find I had incorrectly loaded the film. Who would have guessed that I would have ended up as a photographer 7 years later?

But despite missing out on stuff like the Nullabor plain and the great Australian bite, I have managed to put together a small collection of travel snaps that I have taken over the years during my annual visits down under.
