China is an interesting place; I can't actually say I liked it, but it does offer something different. I spent one night in Shanghai and the rest of the trip in a province called Suzhou. Known as the Venice of the East, Suzhou is a water village that has started to burst its banks. Though nowhere near as populated as Shanghai, it has definitely lost its charm as a sleepy town. During the grand Prix weekend, prices were astronomical and conmen were out in full force, which discouraged casual exploring and swung us in the way of a guided day tour instead. I have tried to capture China in the most realistic way possible and resisted the artistic approach. I hope you enjoy your virtual tour.
The older china scene is definitely more serene and admirable. Nice shots of the temple and scenart.. but the pictures showing the modern side of China seems just uninteresting to me.. i mean that those building are so ugly.. (not your pictures)
