I am Colombian, until 20 years ago I longed to return but with the exception of some short periods of time here and there, the Country I love dearly makes no significant headwaves and progress towards true freedom and peace. We are captured by the insecurity we disguise as unfortunate incidents that dont occurr daily and we go behind the mask of our conformism. We as Colombians must rid the desease of the FARC and the desease of the Drug dealers, oushers and growers. Only until this is accomlished, these pictures will remain as beautiful memories.

Maybe it's because someone special to me has sent me a picture of her taken in Monserrate but I really admire your shots. I feel they capture and convey the emotion of the place. Keep up the great work...Paul
