Ice Blue

This blue glass had been gagging to have its picture taken, but I told it "Wait for a grotty day outside and your wish will come true".

Very nice colour and lighting effects! I like this alot!

I like the way the rounded randomness of the cubes and meltwater gently contrasts with the round orderliness of the blue perimeter -- and the colouration is captivating. Thanks for "listening" to your blue glass with such a good eye!

No this was as it was! I have a light box (used for studying fine detail on my slides) and I've used it two or three times before for white background lighting.

Great shot. Is this 'as was' or did you alter anything post-image?

Simple, but it works really well.

LOL! I just don't know Jeanne. I really have to be dragged along to any sci-fi film so I'm really quite ignorant in such matters but my blue glass will be bowled over when I tell it it was mistaken for an alien pod. Wouldn't the ice have melted on entering our atmosphere?

Nice. Funny how it doesn't look like a glass. Maybe an alien pod...

What IS it with me and aliens lately...It only happens in YOUR gallery!

And welcome to the grotty day! =:) Great shot, Ray - man... that blue is beyond belief!
