Dad and I had a great day out visiting his wartime haunts on the south coast. We even visited his old guardroom at Thorney Island where he was stationed in 1940, and he was over the moon at seeing a Little Egret, which have only started nesting in England since 1996. We were nearly home, when we saw this glorious sky, being such a fitting tribute to our day.
