You have captured social /sporting activity that seems to be slowly disappearing (at least in Sydney) I loved watching the ladies and gents in their whites.....a bit like cricket in that sense.

I see what you are saying about a narrow crop. In this shot, your attention is on the people and the movement of the ball, anyting above them would have just been a distraction. Very good shot, and I'm glad to have your opinion on my cropping. I had started out NOT wanting to use photoshop for anything other than resizing, but it's becoming more clear to me that with my little Nikon Coolpix 3100, I'll NEVER get the results I get with my "real" camera (Film camera, that is!)
