Tudor Falconry

view map

Old Woking, Surrey

yes, it is an owl and not a falcon, but part of the demonstration all the same.

Emma is dressed in Tudor costume, as this was at the site of a palace used by King Henry VIII in the 15th century.

Somebody got a baby chick to munch on! Love the shot....he should really eat with his mouth closed. :)
Faye White12-Sep-2010 00:12

J. Scott Coile12-Sep-2010 00:12
Hope the owl doesn't get mad about the feather in her hat ;-)

Very intense look on the owl.
Cool shot!

I love these events, both Emma & her owl look good...can't say the same about the chicken, though it was most likely good looking once :)

yes, Mairead, he was being fed some chicken!
Mairéad11-Sep-2010 18:07
Is that a pair of legs sticking out of the owl's mouth?
