I met up with a friend for coffee today on the condition that he'd bring his Ilford Sportsman along so I could photograph it for my PAD!
He recently picked it up at no cost on freecycle, but I'm not sure if it works now. The strap has snapped (not photographed is the detachable leather case). But at a value of about £10, it must be nice to have!
Ilford were a British company but it seems the whole camera was built in Reutlingen, West Germany by Dacora with the Ilford label.
