What I like about the scene is the "presence" of the person who has been using the phone, a very long conversation. Well seen and treated.

I have been back to this image three times since I originally viewed it earlier this week and I am still unable to put into words why I like it so much. Perhaps it is the pleasing angle and composition. Or maybe the colour of the blue you've captured against the green of the trees. Or how the background adds to the story of the cigarettes and smokes in the foreground. Or maybe just the simple contrast of the phone on the hook and the holes shaped liked a phone which are punched into the sides of the booth and face the opposite direction. But despite all this, all in all it's a still a relatively normal scene - one I've seen many times before, with the one exception that it's somehow unique to view in the way you've presented it. It might be the strength / theme of this collection which allows this picture to benefit from a more-than-the-sum-of-its-parts. Anyway, enough rambling - I just wanted to say great shot.
