Porto in Portugal

Sue and I went to Porto in Portugal to celebrate her birthday. Porto is Portugal's second city and the home of the Port industry. It's a remarkably beautiful town and I'm surprised it isn't better known. Indeed, I'd rate Porto alongside the major European cities of London, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin.

Porto is also a friendly town. Some drivers stopped for us while we were taking a photograph across the road; they didn't want to spoil the view.

Beautiful Porto takes...Unesco World Heritage Ribeira of Porto is very typical indeed. I just loved the windows and balconies and the clothes drying in the sun...

Wonderful photos of Porto, filled with color and life (much like your other galleries). It is one of the best Porto galleries I have seen http://www.gooporto.com also has a nice gallery for those interested in seeing more of this city) And you always manage to capture people so well...
