This weekend, Sue and I made a short flight over the edge of North York Moors to keep current (you have to fy once every four weeks - club rules). Anyway, it was a short flight just before sun set with the sun at a very low angle. That made for great photos. But. It was my most frightening departure - I was taking off directly into sun and couldn't see anything through the windshield because of the glare. I couldn't even read the instruments because I was so blinded by the low angle sun. Anyway, I didn't kill myself and got some good photographs. At least my landing was good!
