My England

Having created galleries on my overseas visits and topics such as artial photography, I've decided to put together a gallery that reflects the the parts of England that I live in or visit.
My home is close to both the North East coast and the North York Moors. It is also the center of one of the UK's largest chemical manufacturing regions.
These images do not present a balanced picture of England. They are records of local excursions, visits to London, and my local flying activities.

This gallary is divided into sections: Aerial photos mostly taken from an Piper Warrier, the countryside (mostly of the North East), the North East Coast, local industry, urban scenes, people, and London.

I have never travelled but went to England when my son lived in London in 2003 and fell in love with it. Loved everything, especially south-west England; Bath, White Cliffs of Dover (could see France) Camden (thatched roofs and tea) , the country lanes, the pubs, the castles, the history, EVERYTHING! Thank you for the fantastic photos of our GREAT country. Only one thing missing, and that is Concorde, a true British Icon, join the team athttp://www.save-concorde.co.uk they are performing an excellent job in returning a single Concorde to flight.....hope to see you.....Steve
