Cat in the cradle

Smack in the middle of baseball season.
Most know I have an attitude about how much time is spent at the ballfield
watching,not interacting, with our kids.
In that light I have had to slow down on my PAD,something that has been hard for me.
It has become my "baseball"

I have made a lot of , what I would call good friends on this site.
When you think about it most men aren't near as social, even with our friends,as the womenfolk.
For over a year I was talking to a group of you guys close to daily(albeit it electronically)
My brother in law took me to lunch for my b-day and I realized I don't talk to him once a week at times and he is one of my closest friends.
I talk to many of you much more often than that! Guess that is why I feel friendship with you.

Like Larkin,I am having to slow down and I just feel bad at times.
People still comment on my stuff and for the life of me I can't find even a few minutes to return the favor.
There is a core group and you guys know who you are.
I care about you and will return to my old ways eventually.

Crud I still don't know about Kevin S.

ANYWAY.Walker was in a hitting slump and I asked him what a good reward for hitting would be.
He said" riding bikes with you dad"
POWERFUL words man.
So instead of catching up on my pad like I keep telling myself to do
WE RODE BIKES.........................

For an hour!!

And look at Cristi takin' a photo!!

Ah once had 3 young boys - we did everthin together (fishin, huntin, played ball, went to NASCAR).
Then along came 2 little cutie pie gals and Daddy here spent to much time on them and not enough on the boys. They're men now and we're all the best a friends but ah'll never recapture those lost years.

Somehow ah don't reckon you'll make the same mistake as me!
Beautiful shot.

Ah yes......I know the feeling all too well. This is a great shot. Except for the helmet, it's timeless. Sweet work.

Just back from catching an A league game about an hour north of here
with friends between the Lake Elsinore Storm and the High Desert Mavericks.
The visiting Mavericks took the contest handily and the "Rubber Boy"
performed between innings.
Now I've got to sleep ((it's 12:55am) so I can get to me softball game in the
morning.

Did you say something about baseball?
: )

I gotta get Ian's training wheels off for this very reason.
Great shot.
